Features, Title confirmed for The Wind Waker HD

It’s been confirmed, The Wind Waker HD is the official title of the game. New details have also emerged about promising new features.

Along with the title, Nintendo announced the replacement and update of the Tingle Tuner with the new Tingle Bottle, which both uses the Miiverse to post messages across the Great Sea, and utilizes new Wii U capabilities. There’s also the exciting ability to press the A button to switch between ‘normal’ and ‘fast’ modes of sailing, which should make it much easier. Items are also able to be assigned to the D-Pad.

The release date is October in all regions.

Looks like Nintendo listened to fans about one of the most common complaints about the game, as well as updating and adding new features. Hopefully there will be even more, especially new, content added. And the release date isn’t far off, as well.
