For those who have not beaten the game and do not wish to see spoilers to upcoming dungeons, you may want to be cautious in your reading of this topic. Skyward Sword introduced many new ideas and techniques, with many new things made possible with the addition of the new items and motion controls. Some of these dungeons utilized these to their utmost potential, so which one do you think did it the best? All the way from Skyview to Sky Keep, exciting new challenges were presented to us with each and every turn. The featured thread for today is Favorite Skyward Sword Dungeon, so drop into the forum topic and make a post! More info and my opinion after the jump.
Lanayru Mining Facility was the dungeon that really stuck out in my mind. It was both challenging and exciting, really providing a new level of challenge and applying an exciting new concept unlike anything we have seen before in the series. The utilization of timeshift stones to put machines in working order and solve puzzles in a unique way was really engaging and had you thinking at times. The revamp of the Beamos and the overall modern look from the desert sand during the timeshift was exciting and new. Lanayru Mining Facility provided a challenge, aesthetic appeal, and overall design that I feel topped the rest of the dungeons in the game.
