Fans of both The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon should check out Bilsu Art‘s project combining the two. In his video titled “The Complete Hyrule Pokedex!…SO FAR” he shows off his hybrid designs that perfectly blend Zelda lore and the well-loved Pokémon art style.
Clocking in at nearly 50 minutes, the time flies by as Bilsu Art showcases over 200 designs of Pokémon and trainers. It seems like every monster and tribe is represented in Bilsu Art’s ambitious crossover project entitled Link Dimension. Each Pokémon has all the details usually listed in a Pokédex, such as the type, height, weight, and rarity. Even the text and lore information showcases Bilsu Art’s knowledge of both games. Below is just a small sample of how gloriously Bilsu Art combines the two:
I wholeheartedly recommend checking out the entire video. There’s lots of fun surprises when you see your favorite Zelda creature, character, or item reimagined as a Pokémon, Trainer, or item. Many designs are even humorous, such as the Slowsuper shown above.
If you’d like to check out Bilsu Art’s projects, visit their website that showcases all of their projects, including Link Dimension and Trinity 64, a “Zelda-like Monster Taming game.” You can also check them out on Instagram and X.
What do you think of the Pokémon and Zelda combination? Do you think it would work as an actual game? What do you think of the designs? Let us know in the comments!
