Fan Initiative Aims to Get a Hoodless Zelda Into Echoes of Wisdom

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom comes chock-full of awesome content and things to do. One of many cool in-game elements is changing Zelda’s costume (she’s a stylish gal). Changing up the princess’ look is pretty fun, but it seems as though developers made a faux pas when it comes to just how Zelda wears a special blue cloak throughout the game. That’s where creator The Bread Pirate comes in with a “petition” to right this wrong.

The Bread Pirate has launched a call to action for an update to Echoes of Wisdom that will allow players to choose whether Zelda wears her special blue cloak with its hood up or down. While the creator recognizes that an update like this might not be easy, he does point out that it’s possible, especially since we’ve seen “hoodless Zelda” in trailers from before the game was released. In fact, Zelda even wears her hood down in the game’s official art!

So, how do you get involved in the movement? Well, it launches on October 31st, 2024, and all you have to do is use #HoodlessZelda on social media. If you’re taking part, The Bread Pirate encourages you to keep the movement positive, celebrating the game and its developers at Grezzo. You’re also encouraged to follow Grezzo on X if you haven’t done so already. If all goes well, the movement will gain notice and hoodless Zelda might actually happen.
