Dragon Roost Island Acoustic Cover

Dragon Roost Island is strangely one of my favorite places in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. It is home to the Rito tribe and the Sky Spirit Valoo, and because of that I feel it has this majestic and otherworldly presence. When seen from afar, when you first arrive aboard the King of Red Lions it doesn’t look like much as all you can see is a tall mountainous peak. But as you make your way through, you discover that it holds many treasures. Team Players, a YouTube duo who has been featured on ZD in the past, most recently for their Acoustic Cover of the “Milk Bar theme” from Majora’s Mask has now created an acoustic cover of the “Dragon Roost Island theme”, which I think gives a light hearted yet ethereal tone to the song that I find is quite appropriate.
Head past the jump to listen and decide for yourselves.
“There’s a real peculiar cave toward the backside of this here Dragon Roost Island. Yeah, real peculiar. But I doubt you’ll ever get there to see it, small fry —unless you manage to sprout wings and fly, that is… ‘Cause you won’t be getting there otherwise!”
— Fishman
