Majora’s Mask Wii U Virtual Console Release is Experiencing Discount Price Problems
Posted on November 27 2016 by Alasyn Eletha
Majora’s Mask was released this last Thursday on the Wii U Virtual Console. Normally Virtual Console games have a price discount for those who have already bought the game on the eShop. In this case, Majora’s Mask was previously released on the Virtual Console for the Wii. For N64 games, the discount price is usually $2.00. However, the eShop seems to be having some issues and the discount isn’t popping up for those who have formerly bought the game. Nintendo’s customer support has been notified of the problem and has informed customers that it could be a couple weeks before it is resolved.
Hopefully the discounted option becomes available again rather quickly. Personally, I’m too impatient. I have the game on my old Wii that’s packed up somewhere in my garage, but I was too eager to reopen this chapter of the Zelda series that I went ahead and downloaded it at full price. $9.99 for a classic isn’t too bad considering you could also buy the more expensive remastered version for the 3DS. What do you guys think? Have some of you faced the discount issue? Does it matter either way seeing as Majora’s Mask is one of the more popular Zelda games?
