Did You Know Gaming Covers Zelda Music

The folks over at Did You Know Gaming have released another Zelda themed video, this time delving into some of the most interesting facts about the music in the series. Gaming Youtuber SpaceHamster provides the voice for this particular episode, and it mentions plenty of great music trivia, from the original planned song for The Legend of Zelda to Koji Kondo’s endeavour for an orchestral score in Twilight Princess.

Music, in my opinion, is one of the most important factors in a Zelda game, and as with many other video games and movies, it’s what makes particular scenes that much more special. For this reason, it’s awesome to see that Zelda Music is getting it’s own episode. My favourite piece of trivia from the video is Shigeru Miyamoto and the Ocarina of Time team’s development of the Ocarina instrument, with them eventually landing on individual notes for each button.
Did you already know any of the facts highlighted in this episode of ‘Did You Know Gaming’? What are some of you favourite musical tracks from the Zelda series? Mine would have to be the complete Ocarina of Time soundtrack, as well as Faron Woods and Fi’s Farewell. Join in the discussion below!
