kaeporagaeboraI Kaepora Gaebora, am back to bring you all the latest goings on in the land of Hyrule and Zelda Dungeon from the past week. This week became quite an exciting week as we learned about a new title heading to the 3DS, as well as some new Zelda products that hopefully we will be able to get our hands on soon! As always this friendly little owl will guide you back in time to revisit the most important and talked abut news from the past week. As this upcoming week is E3 we hope to see even more Zelda content coming our way so, without further ado…

Did you get all that? If so, follow me past the break.

We start our journey back in time last Sunday where animator, Callegos-Y released a hilarious animationRacing for Rupees of Link and his obsession for rupees on YouTube. The video was created using SFM and is well worth the watch. It gives you a whole new appreciation of the hard work, and can we say mad greed that goes into collecting all those rupees! Many of you really enjoyed the work the animator put in and gave it quite a few compliments.

Kaine Morrison has this to say:

“Now THAT is a “Mis-Adventure of Link!!!!!!!”

The next stop on our adventure takes us to the announcement that the Nintendo World Store will be Screen Shot 2015-06-09 at 8.44.37 AMhosting a Symphony of the Goddesses Master Quest event on September 4th. The event will begin at 6pm and will include a live performance from some of the musicians that will be performing in the Zelda Symphony at the Barclays Center.

Our third trip back in time takes us to what took up several different posts as it was pretty big news. Koei Hyrule_Warriors_NA_game_coverTecmo accidentally leaked the news that we will be seeing Hyrule Warriors brought to the 3DS with new playable characters. This leak lead to several articles from the original announcement, to speculation on a female Link, as well as a comparison of the differences between the Wii U and the 3DS version. The announcement was met with overall excitement although some of you felt it might be a waste or were concerned how it would run on the 3DS. But the main consensus seems to be anticipation for its release.

Xaragon felt:

“I… needed this… Really just Hyrule Warriors on a portable device, you have no idea how many times I’ve had cravings to play Hyrule Warriors while I was at college.
I just hope they add new maps. Not Adventure Mode maps (though that would be nice), but arenas, none of the other DLCs offered new maps to my knowledge and I think that really cheapens the deal. Like a Clock-Town themed map with keeps and bases themed off of the Stock Pot Inn, the Milk Bar, the playground, the laundry pool, etc. Come on, people have been itching to revisit Termina, and this would probably be the closest thing.”

Our final stop today takes us to some new Zelda inspired swag we have to look forward to from PDP. hw2Although not much information is known at this time, what we know is that we will be seeing several officially licensed Nintendo products being released. This new lineup of products includes several Zelda related items such as four The Legend of Zelda themed 3DS system cases.

To see the full list of Zelda items along with other Nintendo related goodies, check out the original post here.

That is all for our journey together this week, and I am looking forward to taking you through what I hope will be a Zelda filled adventure after E3. Thank you once again for letting this loving little owl take you back in time! Now I must bid you farewell until I return next Sunday, but before I go I must ask…

“Did You Get All That?”
