Part of The Legend of Zelda’s appeal to me is its replayability. No matter where I am in my life, I can boot up any given Nintendo system and launch into a realm I know and love. I enjoy my regular romps through Link’s Awakening, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time.

I’m willing to bet you have at least one or two Zelda games you return to occasionally. Today, we’re looking at the other ones – the games that have, for whatever reason, fallen out of your replay rotation. In a series spanning nearly four decades, let’s shine a light on the entries that don’t get much love.

Which Zelda game is your least revisited? A qualifier here is that it has to be a game you have replayed at least once. Those one-and-done titles (like Tri Force Heroes for me) don’t count. It’s fine if you’ve set a Zelda aside during your first playthrough because it wasn’t for you, but let’s not delve into that here. Instead, focus on a Zelda you enjoy but haven’t gone back to often.

It is The Legend of Zelda for me. My first time through this title was as exhilarating as it was grueling. I’ve replayed it once since and, thanks to a walkthrough, found it less abstruse and more accessible that second time. It’s a fun game and I see how the series has blossomed from the seeds it laid. Those two times through were enough for me, however.

What about you? Which Zelda game is your least revisited? Head on down to the comments and let us know!
