Daily Debate: Which Story in Majora’s Mask Touched You the Most?
Posted on April 22 2020 by Brittany Lindstrom
More than any other Zelda title, Majora’s Mask has a story driven by your interactions with the world. Every character you meet has a purpose, desires, and a story to tell. Each time you slip through time, you seek to further heal the wounds of Termina. Some souls require Link to delve deep into the world’s temples. Others simply need a kind ear and a soothing song.
With so many tales interwoven into the world, there is bound to be one or two that will stick out to each player. Perhaps you resonated with Anju and Kafei’s reunion mere hours before the Moon falls. Or, the simple story of a man in his mid-thirties embarking to live his truth. Better yet, maybe it was the story of friendship and redemption between a Skull Kid and two fairies. Regardless of how long it’s been since you played the game, you can vividly recall the story that left the largest impact on you.
As much as I love the story of Anju and Kafei, Lulu’s tale always gets me. How about you? Which story from the game do you cherish and remember the most? Let us know in the comments!
