Daily Debate: Which Actor Would You Like to Play Ganondorf in Breath of the Wild 2?

Although Nintendo has yet to confirm the identity of the now-infamous corpse in Breath of the Wild 2’s announcement trailer, all signs point to this being the Gerudo King himself, Ganondorf. If so — and if the first Breath of the Wild’s approach to voice acting is any indication — then this game will likely mark the first appearance of a fully-voiced Ganondorf. I don’t know about you, but just the idea of that has me bouncing up and down in my chair!

That begs the question, though: whose voice would best suit the big bad? Given Nintendo’s recent experience when it comes to hiring voice talent — especially in regards to the Fire Emblem series — I wouldn’t be surprised if they went with someone from the anime dub scene. Looking strictly within that realm, I can’t think of a better fit than Jamieson Price. Honestly, his low, thunderous voice would match the Demon King perfectly. Admittedly, too, after hearing his performance as Alexander the Great in Fate/Zero (who coincidentally bears some resemblance to Ganondorf, too), there’s no going back for me. I just can’t un-hear his voice in my head when I play Twilight Princess.
