Daily Debate: Where Would You Like to See Zelda Go This Decade?

First of all, Happy New Year! Whether you’ve been in the new decade for almost a full day, or you’ve just finished your celebrations, we’re here to party with you through the next 12 months.

Kicking off the new decade, and in an attempt to look past the incoming January blues, we’re thinking about what’s coming up for the Zelda series in the next 10 years. The past decade saw the release of 4 brand new titles (Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Triforce Hereos (yes we’re counting that), and Breath of the Wild), alongside the release of the 3DS, Wii U, and Switch, as well as a number of Zelda remakes.

We already have our sights set on the newest 3D entry in the series with Breath of the Wild‘s sequel. But what else would you like to see? Would you like to see more remakes? Or perhaps you’d prefer the Zelda team focus on brand new titles, in both 2D and 3D? Would you like to see the franchise spread out into different genres? Let us know in the comments below!
