Daily Debate: What’s Your Comfort Zelda Game?

When it comes to Zelda, we’ve all got a favorite game, and mine happens to be Ocarina of Time. It just so happens that this is my comfort game too. If you’re wondering what a comfort game is, it’s as obvious as it sounds: a game that brings you peace and comfort when you play it.

Ocarina of Time is my comfort game for a couple of reasons. First, it’s the first Zelda game I ever played, which means it’s loaded with nostalgia. Second, I’ve played this game so many times that I don’t even have to think about it (with the obvious exception of the Water Temple). I can pick it up and play a lazy game which takes so little effort, or I can go hard and try to beat my personal best. In a nutshell, the game just makes me feel happy, no matter what type of gaming experience I’m looking for.
