Daily Debate: What Zelda Game Will You Play First This Year?

Happy New Year everyone! 2024 was another big year for the Zelda series with the one year anniversary of Tears of the Kingdom and the new release of Echoes of Wisdom. A new year brings new beginnings and often is a great time to play or replay a favorite game. So, what Zelda game will you be playing first this year?
This year I’m hoping to replay The Wind Waker again, and to play a few Zelda games that I have never played before, like The Minish Cap, Oracle of Ages, and Oracle of Seasons. As far as which one will I play first? I’m not sure, but playing something new sounds like a fun time. I could easily see myself diving in to The Minish Cap I’ve heard so many good things about it! Among the games that I have not played it’s the most intriguing to me. My hope this year is to play through all of the games that I’ve previously mentioned so I can add them to my scoring for our annual Best Zelda Ever article.
Speaking of hoping, maybe we’ll have another new Zelda title to play in 2025? It’s definitely wishful thinking, but you never know, we did get Echoes of Wisdom as a big surprise last year!
