Daily Debate: What Was Your First Zelda Lo-Fi Experience?

If you’re studying, gaming, or even crying, there is a lo-fi beat made for a specific audience. Love it or hate it, lo-fi music isn’t going anywhere soon! Its soothing chill beats make great background noise when you’re occupied with work or winding down from a long day. When I heard a Zelda lo-fi video for the first time, I was amazed that this genre of video game remixes existed.
Now, there are so many Zelda lo-fi remixes out there to pick from. Whether you want to hear a chill-hop version of the “Lost Woods” or a nostalgic sound of “Zelda’s Lullaby”, it’s out there. I have many favorites saved depending on my mood, even including synthwave options when I’m feeling futuristic. Yet today on my way to work, I was listening to the first video that introduced me to Zelda lo-fi. Playing it now reminds me of simpler times when I used to sit by my window with my fairy lights on and write whatever came to mind. Time was so different back then when I discovered this, and certain songs from Zelda and lofi enhance those wistful emotions.
And so, I ask you, what was your first Zelda lo-fi experience? Do you still play that song or album? Share your favorite tunes in the comments below!
