Daily Debate: Is Link Using the Triforce in the New Breath of the Wild 2 Footage?

Although I’m somewhat heartbroken that we will have to wait a bit longer for the sequel to Breath of the Wild, I was absolutely floored at the small clip of footage we got in the release date announcement! Not only does Link’s arm look absolutely wrecked, but the Master Sword looks like it’s in the worst condition that we’ve ever seen! Amid that shock though, I noticed one other small detail in the few seconds of new footage: Link’s hand. Link uses his hand to activate something in front of him in the small teaser, and on the back of his hand there is a very distinct and familiar glow to it.
Could it be the Triforce of Courage?
The glow is similar to Zelda’s sealing powers, which I always assumed stemmed from the Triforce in some way, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we are seeing a glimpse that the Triforce is back in business in the sequel after being absent in Breath of the Wild. One can only hope, because my favorite Zelda games always revolve around the Triforce and the age-old battles among Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf.
I am beyond excited to see what this game has in store for us. But, I could be wrong, the glow on Link’s hand could definitely be something else! What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
