Daily Debate: If You Could Own One of Link’s Items, Which Would You Choose?

Protagonists of games always end up with some really cool items to aid them on their adventures and Link is no exception. Across the entire Legend of Zelda series he’s come across and used some really cool and unique items like The Wind Waker, a hook shot, and even something as simple as a bug catching net. He’s had a variety of interesting things to take with him on his journeys so which would you choose to own?

I’m sure a lot of people will say The Master Sword, but when I initially thought of the question I was thinking something outside of his common weaponry. He does come across a lot of awesome weaponry, especially in Breath of the Wild, but it’s the uncommon items like The Deku Leaf that make a Zelda game unique. All of that aside, I think the item that I would choose would be either The Sheikah Slate or one of the masks from Majora’s Mask.

The Sheikah Slate proved to be quite useful at helping Link get around, lift objects, and move objects away. The Sheikah Slate also took pictures and held a compendium on knowledge, and not to mention it looked awesome as a cool hip accessory. I could see it being useful in everyday life if it were adapted to modern times! Second, having one of Link’s masks would be cool, depending on the mask. Personally having the bunny hood would be super cute, but something useful like the Zora mask would be nice too. Having masks that transform you into different versions of yourself could also be a lot of fun too! Having the Zora mask would really own be beneficial near a body of water, but it certainly would make beach vacations a lot of fun!
