Daily Debate: If LEGO Made an Official Zelda Set, Which Game Should it be From?

Ever since the discontinuation of LEGO Castle in 2014, LEGO has lacked a medieval theme of sets for their yearly line-up. This is a real shame, as the LEGO Kingdoms and LEGO Castle sets were always my favorites. I do wonder what Zelda game LEGO would use to create a brand new toy line. They could easily go for a recent game like Link’s Awakening or Breath of the Wild. Something like a Bokoblin Camp could easily make a set. Then again, when LEGO got their hands on Mario they made sets based on the original game on the Nintendo Entertainment System. So its very possible that LEGO would develop toys based off the original Legend of Zelda.
If the choice was up to you, which Zelda game would you want LEGO to base sets off on? Personally, I would like it to be The Wind Waker. I think the various islands could make for easily distinguishable sets. The game also possesses a large cast of colorful characters that could make for interesting mini-figures. Here is a list of the sets I would like to see created in this theme:
- Big Octo Encounter
- King of Red Lions vs Cannon Boat
- Great Fairy Shrine
- Flight Control Mini Game
- Spectacle Isle Tower
- Tetra’s Pirate Ship
- Outset Island Beachfront
- Tingle’s Island
- Earth Temple
- Forsaken Fortress Rescue
Which Zelda game would you like to see LEGO use to create new toys? It doesn’t have to be just one. Let us know in the comments below.
