Daily Debate: How Might We See the Yiga Clan Implemented in the Breath of the Wild Sequel?

The Yiga Clan, the infamous offshoot of the Sheikah tribe. Known for their deadly weapons and their penchant for mighty bananas, they swore fealty to Calamity Ganon after their race was exiled in an age long past by Hyrule’s king. Throughout Breath of the Wild they vowed to not only avenge their Master Kohga, but to also prevent Princess Zelda and the hero Link from defeating Calamity Ganon. Yet, their lingering determination to complete their task was one of the “loose ends” that Breath of the Wild left untied, with Yiga archers and blademasters still in pursuit of Link right up to his entering of Hyrule Castle.
With the knowledge that Ganondorf’s remains are intact, is it possible for the Yiga to have attempted to resurrect Calamity Ganon in the first place? Or will they merely continue to function in a “cat-and-mouse” dynamic with Link and Zelda?
