The annual speedrunning marathon Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) was held all last week, offering exciting speedruns of many, many classic games. Among the festivities was an awesome Glitchless Any% run of Ocarina of Time, followed directly by an entertaining glitch exhibition of the N64 classic. During this 20 minute exhibition, speedrunner Piticarus proved to the SGDQ audience just how broken OoT could be, showing off such things as rocket chests, remote-controlled Eponas, and big boulder hats.
After Friday night’s Glitchless Any% speedrun of Ocarina of Time, SGDQ spectators were treated to an unpredictable and hilarious glitch exhibition within the game. Runner Piticarus ran through some of the most ridiculous glitches, exploits, and bugs this N64 title has to offer; even the most seasoned OoT players may see something completely new. I don’t know about you, but this showcase certainly makes me want to try some of these glitches myself, such as picking up the Shooting Gallery Owner or causing Link to levitate leisurely through the air.
What your favorite glitch during the exhibition? Did you see any you’ve never seen before? Let us know in the comments!
