Check Out This Metal Cover of the Tal Tal Heights Theme

The Tal Tal Heights are some of the highest points in Link’s Awakening, allowing the player to peer over the vastness of Koholint Island. While it is home to a couple of the game’s dungeons, the most recognizable part about this area is the amazing theme tune, which is easily one of the most recognizable songs of the game.
“Tal Tal Heights” is irresistible on its own; but with the added taste of sick guitar licks, you’ve got a recipe for success. This is what Nestalgica brings to the table in his recent metal cover of the Tal Tal Heights theme from Link’s Awakening. In the video description, the musician notes how effective the song can be in the game, as players resist venturing to a new area because they don’t want the music to end. It really goes to show how powerful some tunes from the Zelda series can be.
Nestalgica has also worked on other Zelda covers, such as the Gerudo Valley theme from Ocarina of Time. He’s also tackled series like Mega Man, Super Mario, Grandia, Pokémon, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Strider, and much more.
