Caption Contest 424: Five-Star Chef
Posted on January 06 2025 by Rod Lloyd
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you’re ready for Zelda Dungeon’s first Caption Contest of 2025! If you’re like me, you’ve spent the past few weeks enjoying holiday meal after holiday meal. Enjoying so much good food with family might just inspire you to try cooking something special for yourself. I know I’ve been bitten by the cooking bug lately. So, in honor of that culinary curiosity, I’ve got a food-based Zelda screenshot for you all today.
Last Week’s Contest:
A few of you suggested a .gif category for the contest last week. I’m willing to give that a try in the future, but for now, I’ll count .gif submissions among the non-photo category.
Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- Mr. Rocktato: “Leave the gun. Take the cotton candy.”
- pyridiss:
- IceRod:
- TheZoraMask46: “gerald what time is it….’
“12:01, why?”
“i already broke my new years resolution….” - Solar Man: Me and the boys after finding some cotton candy in the walls.
This Week’s Contest:
Cooking’s as easy as throwing a bunch of unprepared ingredients into a pot, right?
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
