What’s up, Zelda fans?! It’s time again for the Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest to brighten up your Monday!

Back in May, we put out a call for funny Zelda screenshots that we could one day feature in the contest. (Let’s just say the image folder is getting a little low on stock…) Thankfully, one of the leading members of the Zelda Dungeon community, Sage of Fire, accepted the challenge and sent in some fabulous screenshots for us to spotlight. So, in honor of Sage of Fire and one of their favorite Zelda characters, here’s an image starring the Goron Champion Yunobo.

Our Last Contest:

We hyped ourselves up for Echoes of Wisdom last time around.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • IceRod: Zelda to the Deku Scrub: “Spit it out already.” 😂
  • Zelda Scholar: Zelda: Tri, can you distract the business scrub so I can make an echo of his wares.
  • E𝐜нⓞ乇𝕧𝐒: Zelda: Is this gluten free?
Deku: No, maam you’re gonna need to pay for the gluten
  • pyridiss: Give me your wares or I’ll sing the Song of Healing to turn you into a Deku Mask!
  • Zelda4LifeGuy: Zelda better get a Moon’s Tear if she wants to get that plot of land there from the business scrub

This Week’s Contest:

Thanks again to Sage of Fire for sharing this screenshot with us.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
