Salutations, Zelda fans! Are you ready for another fun-filled edition of the Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest? As many of you know, I hosted a special live edition of the contest at the Zelda Dungeon Marathon a few weeks ago. During that segment, I offered viewers a glimpse at an upcoming contest image inspired by the newly announced The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. That image was meant to be featured last week, but because last Monday happened to fall on Canada Day, I had to postpone my plans to accommodate a certain Tim Hortons photoshop instead. But now we’re back on schedule, and we’re ready for our first official Echoes of Wisdom Caption Contest!

Last Week’s Contest:

I don’t know much about Tim Hortons, but I’m told their coffee stays warm for an astonishingly long time.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Sean Gadus: “The pinnacle of Ultrahand”
  • pyridiss: Great! There should finally be a few plates, cups and clay pots to break in there!
  • Nick Miller: In search of something more than Dubious Food, Link wandered into a Tim Hortons… his search continues.
  • Toasted: Let me guess, more Zonai rui- …what the…
  • BeefLink: “I heard korokbits are back on the menu.”

This Week’s Contest:

It’s so good to see the Deku back in the Zelda series.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
