Award Winning Musician Rozen Announces New Album, And We’re Revealing One Of The Tracks!
Posted on November 12 2018 by Sean Gadus
It gives Zelda Dungeon great honor to be able to reveal a track from Children of Termina by Award Winning Musician Rozen.
Today’s reveal is a look at the Deku Palace theme!
The song includes a thunderous percussion track that provides a strong back drop for the song, which sets an imposing tone for the beginning of the song. The track also uses a woodwind sound early in the song, which has distinctly eastern sound and helps to capture the rustic sound of the original sound. From there, the song include strings and horns to capture the rousing melody, which seems to take some influence from Celtic Traditions. It’s a high tempo, boisterous arrangement that perfectly captures the imposing and unique Deku Palace, an area that is both whimsical and imposing at the same time.
In his description of Children of Termina, Rozen stated that his goal was to capture “all the feelings in the hearts of the people of Termina when they’re looking up at the falling moon, one last time, before facing extinction: love, solitude, despair, acceptance”. Furthermore, it is important to capture the “unsettling but emotional journey in the lands below Hyrule, and feel the same desperate need to heal the world as Link did”.
Children of Termina will be available for $12 USD digitally on November 30th. The album is also planned for a physical release in December 2018, as well as limited deluxe edition 2xLP vinyl in January 2018.
