Aonuma Thanks Zelda Fans and Makes Promise

The Prima Zelda Box Set includes a Certificate of Authenticity which has been signed by the Legend of Zelda producer, Eiji Aonuma. However, it was recently found that the certificate also included a message from Aonuma about the Legend of Zelda franchise.

Aonuma shares his thanks for the long term support and dedication he has received from the fans of the series and he got the chance to sneak in a few words pertaining to how he wants the next installment in the series to measure up to past Zelda games. He specifically thanks the fans for their dedication and devotion to the Zelda series and wants to thank the fans by making a promise about the upcoming Zelda game and refers to Zelda Wii U by stating his “desire to create a unique experience that is beyond your expectations.”

Aonuma’s note reads:

“It has been 25 years since The Legend of Zelda was introduced to the world, and it is still going strong. This was made possible by the fans who love the series. In the next installment, it is my desire to create a unique experience that is beyond your expectations. We are privileged to have your unwavering support.”
