A Link to the Past Icons Come to Nintendo Switch Online Rewards

Earlier this year, Nintendo Switch Online introduced a new way to unlock exclusive Icon Elements as part of its Missions and Rewards feature. Rather than simply asking NSO subscribers to redeem their My Nintendo Platinum Points within a certain time period to receive Icons, as they’ve done in the past, the new system tasks subscribers to also play specific games on the service within a time period in order to unlock new Icons.
Following such Icon releases for Super Mario World and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, new Icons based on A Link to the Past have now been added to Nintendo Switch Online. NSO subscribers just need to “play The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past while the event is active to be able to redeem [Platinum Points] for Icon Elements to this game.” The event will be active until June 3rd, 2024.
The new Icon collection includes A Link to the Past‘s Link, Zelda, and Ganon, as we all as a few other characters. All Icons cost ten My Nintendo Platinum Points. You can learn more about Nintendo Switch Online Missions and Rewards right here.
Be sure to boot up A Link to the Past in Nintendo Switch Online before June 3rd if you’d like a chance to spend your points on these Icons.
