2013 Gamescom has come and gone, being the biggest Gamescom of all time. People came from all over the world to attend the massive convention, which had about 23% more people than last year’s. While the focus point was mostly Activision’s Destiny, Nintendo also took home a few awards for themselves, including one for the brand new Zelda title, A Link Between Worlds.

The award for best mobile game went to The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the much awaited indirect sequel to A Link to the Past, soon to be released in North America this November. For fans, this is a great sign of quality. Though Nintendo is rarely beaten when it comes to handheld gaming, it’s still great to know that we may finally get a fantastic mobile title better than anything else this year.
Personally, this is the most exciting game this year. I’m happy to see it winning awards, and I’m even more psyched to play this game now!
