Zelda Theorist Analyzes the Psychology of Zant

What makes a being go mad? Is it their lust for power? Are they driven to go further beyond anyone expected them to ever go in their lives? This is what you have to think of when talking about The Usurper King Zant from Twilight Princess. This member of the Twili species wanted nothing more to cast out the old guard of the royal family and constitute his own ideals. The question remains though, what truly drove Zant to do what he did?
That’s what resident Zelda theorist Dr.Wily dives deeper into as he looks at what really makes Zant tick. Wily basically boils it down to Zant being someone with the right mindset in regards to what the humans did to them, but his execution on how to deal with that issue is what truly makes him the villain. In layman’s terms, good ideas, but sadistic execution. Every time Zant confronts Midna and Link about it he seems just, but then how he wants to take care of the people who hurt his people is where he truly crosses the line.
