Game Theory: Zelda Potions and Power Bands

When I saw this last night, I was a little skeptical on what exactly this was about. I have never watched the Game Theory videos before, but the whole Zelda in the title piqued my curiosity.

We already know Link has an amazing arsenal of weaponry that fits into his never ending pockets. Iron boots that he can barely walk in are as light as a feather once they are in his pack. Still, it’s a video game, and that sort of logic doesn’t really apply.

Game Theory is sort of like Mythbusters for gamers, where they try to figure out if gaming mechanics, items, and other various ideas can apply in real life. This episode tries to see if we can find an equal drink to compare to Link’s potions, or if we can really use bands to raise our strength. It’s actually kind of funny and educational, and you will be able to see a real, human sized smurf!
