Majora’s Mask Opera Demo

Youtube member M. Bulteau has recently posted a short demo of their Majora’s Mask opera project. This video shows us a little bit of the scene between members of Clock town talking to Mayor Dotour about their concerns that the moon is falling. The words of the characters are sung to the tune of Mayor Dotour’s office from the game. However since this is only a demo we only get to see just a small part of the scene behind a curtain. The lyrics are in English and there are handy subtitles at the bottom of the screen as well. Jump inside to check out the video for yourself.

This is an interesting tribute to the anniversary. I have seen quite a few musical tributes but so far nothing as detailed as this. I hope this project continues moving and more is added to it as the idea of a Zelda opera sounds like it would be fun to watch. I am also hoping that next time we get something a bit more visual. I want to see costumes and painted backgrounds to get the entire opera feel into this. Although that may have to wait until they are closer to completion.
