In this Zelda Collection video I take a look at one of the most commonly owned pieces of Zelda merchandise. This is a Zelda t-shirt with artwork and logo from the original Legend of Zelda. Coming in a few colors, this shirt is widely available at online retailers and even in some retail stores across the country. It’s rather cheep and you can find on ebay for a mere $15-$20. The shirt is officially licensed by Nintendo and it is manufactured by Delta Apparel, a company that has created a number of Zelda and Nintendo goodies.

While the shirt released significantly later than the original Legend of Zelda, it does borrow the same artwork. The two notable differences is that it is mirrored and Link’s shield has been altered. Unlike how it appears in the official art, there is no cross on Link’s shield. I think this has much to do with the religious sensitivity in western society, so they instead choose to give Link a solid colored shield. I don’t think it takes much away from the shirt and this is actually one that I frequently wear when I go out. Go ahead and make the jump to check out the video.

Rarity: Very Common
Price: $15-$20

A quick search of eBay and you’ll find plenty of these shirts.
