Music Box #6: Crane11’s Zelda DnB

This week’s Music box comes from SoundCloud user Crane11, who did a crazy Drum and Bass remix of the original Legend of Zelda.

This kind of thing has been done a lot before and I’ve heard many attempts, but this is definitely my favorite by far. It has a more old-school Drum and Bass feel, which I personally really prefer over a lot of the other remixes out there – and according to his comment on the track saying he made it in 1999, so rightly so!

So, any of you guys recognize this one? The drums on this track sound awesome in my opinion, they really accent that classic melody we all know and love. The different styles of drum and, change just often enough for me to not get tired of them but still let me enjoy them fully. Maybe I’m just a sucker for that old Zelda theme, but I’ve never gotten bored of it yet.
