Skyward Sword: Final Pre-Order Numbers

The numbers are finally in over at VG Chartz and after picking up 172,744 pre-orders in final week, Skyward Sword ended with a total of 774,403 pre-orders here in North America. Still not the massive amounts for some of the games that are on other consoles, but this was by far the most of any recent console Nintendo game. Pokemon Black and White were the only recent Nintendo games to have more pre-orders than Skyward Sword. With pre-orders now behind us, it’s now on to sales numbers that matter. It’s still too early to report, but we’ll be updating next week with the initial sales number for Skyward Sword. Until then, you can make the jump to see the full Top 30 list of pre-ordered games.
