Play Classic Zelda Songs on This Electronic Ocarina of Time Replica
Posted on July 24 2017 by Alexis S. Anderson
Ocarina of Time is considered by many to be one of the greatest games of all time, and those who play it are often enchanted by the many ocarina songs found within it. Those classic songs are brought to life on ThinkGeek’s electronic Ocarina of Time. Playing each six-note tune “unlocks a hidden song” in the instrument’s Classic Mode. The ocarina also comes with a Free-Play Mode allowing for freestyle riffs. Pre-order it now for $29.99 plus shipping.
Created by the GeekLabs team as a ThinkGeek exclusive, this officially licensed ocarina comes with a display-stand and an illustrated songbook indicating the six note cues that make the ocarina play Zelda’s Lullaby, Epona’s Song, Saria’s Song, the Song of Time, the Sun’s Song, and the Song of Storms.
What sets it apart from a regular ocarina is that it will sound exactly like the Ocarina of Time does in game since it’s electronic and doesn’t require one’s breath to be even or fingers to be perfectly placed over the holes. Classic Mode will play the full song after the 6-note trigger, just like the in-game ocarina.
How do you feel about this ThinkGeek creation? Is it unique enough to be worth buying over a non-electronic Ocarina of Time replica? Share your thoughts in the comments!
