Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, everyone! How about a Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest to help us get in the mood? I sit here writing this article without a single thread of green clothing on me. All my green clothes are currently sitting in my laundry room. So, rather than go with the obvious green tunic screenshot, I wanted this week’s contest to honor the people like me who will be subject to merciless pinching today because they dared to step outside without some green. This week, Link’s facing the world with a blue shirt.

Last Week’s Contest:

Zelda and Tri encountered a Lynel last week.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Solar Man: “Mom he followed me home can I keep him?”
  • IceRod: Me avoiding adult responsibilities, even as they closely stalk me from behind.
  • SkywardMaster: Zelda: Wow Tri, I can’t believe we’ve been playing video games for 8 hours now. It’s been great having mom work double shifts at her new job! She would go crazy if she knew we were doing this!
    Tri: Uh, about that…
  • Parliemander: Top 10 photos taken moments before disaster.
  • Vah Medoh: “its right behind me isn’t it”

This Week’s Contest:

Get ready for a pinch, Link.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
