Daily Debate: What Could Be In Store for Zelda in 2025?

2024 is drawing to a close and looking back, it’s been a great year for Zelda. We’ve had a new game where the princess herself saved the day, lots of exciting new merch, and tons of fan content from the community. With this in mind, what could be in store for Zelda in 2025?

I’d love to think we’ll see another new mainline Zelda game in this upcoming year. But somehow, I don’t think that’s on the cards. I do believe we might get another Hyrule Warriors installment though! And of course, there’s the upcoming successor to the Switch, so we might even get some themed controllers and accessories. I really hope Nintendo continue to push their Zelda-themed apparel that they released in 2024 too. It would be so cool if they’d expand upon it because I’d fill my wardrobe up!

I also think we’ll see a lot more amazing fan creations in 2025. The Zelda community just continues to grow and content just gets better and better because of that. I particularly hope we see some more fan albums covering my favorite Zelda soundtracks (these get me through the work day).

All-in-all, I think 2025 bodes well for Zelda, and I can’t wait to enjoy what the year brings for fans!
