Hello there, Zelda fans. It’s time to sweep up the dust and clean up the cobwebs, because we’re bringing the Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest back to life just in time for Spooky Season! You’ll have to forgive me for putting the contest on hiatus this past month. Let’s just say that between Echoes of Wisdom coverage and a few big trips, I’ve had to put a few things on hold. But I couldn’t let all of October go by without at least one Caption Contest spooky spotlight, especially since I’ve had this image in my back pocket for months.

Our Last Contest:

Why did Zelda leave her keys upon the table? She wanted to!

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • IceRod: “This is fine, I guess, but I asked for a booth.”
  • Charlotte Williams: Zelda-‘Wingardium Leviosa’
  • GoldenHalcyon: “Congratulations! You have acquired the most legendary echo! The five star Table echo! Use your table to bypass any enemy, get through any puzzle and beat this whole game with just a wave of your wand! And the best part… you’re only five minutes in! That’s right! No need to go uselessly hunting for powerful echoes with the table! With smooth, average wood and sturdy legs, this perfectly normal table will solve all your traveling worries! And, there’s even a special Paint Job for 1,000,000 rupees!” – The exact words Tri will definitely say when you get this echo.
  • BraveGamgee: “This is gonna save me so much money on interior decorating”
  • Otwl: Right, time to turn the tables on this…table!

This Week’s Contest:

Thanks to our friend Sage of Fire for sharing this screenshot with us.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
