Puzzle Solving Goes Wrong in this Echoes of Wisdom Fan Animation

Princess Zelda has some tricks up her sleeve in Echoes of Wisdom. We know she’ll use the Tri Rod for Echo creation, Bind, and Reverse Bond. We’ve also seen her Swordfighter form and some of the Automatons she uses on her quest. Through a combination of these elements, Zelda can solve puzzles, fight enemies, and traverse Hyrule in her first official starring role. It will, presumably, take some trial and error to make sure things go correctly for the princess.
Animator CharlesCBernardo shows us a case of that trial-and-error process going awry. When Zelda can’t quite reach a chest in “Reverse Bond | Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Animation,” she turns to the Tri Rod for help. This short animation shows her attempt to get to the treasure with water Echoes and by using Reverse Bond on a seagull. Solving these puzzles is a process, after all!
CharlesCBernardo’s no stranger to Zelda animations, as you’ll see in his The Legend of Zelda playlist. We’ve also showcased his work on Zelda Dungeon a handful of times before! The most recent was in 2020 with “Egg of Calamity.”
You can follow the animator on YouTube, Instagram, and X to keep up with his latest work. He also streams on Twitch and hosts a Discord server.
What are your thoughts on “Reverse Bond?” Are you a fan of CharlesCBernardo’s animations? How do you think Zelda should’ve reached that chest? Let us know in the comments!
