Daily Debate: Do You Think We’ll Get To Use Dungeon Bosses as Echoes in Echoes of Wisdom?

In two days, we’ll have our hands on Echoes of Wisdom, and the hype is real. Princess Zelda will finally take her place in a leading role, and her many unique abilities will breath new life into 2D Zelda. One of these new abilities will allow Zelda to make copies of certain items around the world with the help of the Tri Rod. These copies are called Echoes and they allow Zelda to summon objects and enemies to her benefit.
Objects like pots, beds, and crates will allow players to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles in creative ways. Enemies like ReDead, Moblins, and Deku Baba can be summoned to fight at Zelda’s side. An Echo of a slab of meat can even be used to distract foes while Zelda stealthily slips by.
Echoes open a world of possibilities! They will likely reshape the way players view and interact with the in-game environment. As is the case with some of Link’s abilities in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, something like Echoes will make obstacles less of roadblocks and more of opportunities to flex your creative muscles.
Another opportunity it presents the player is the possibility of collecting dungeon bosses as Echoes. Just imagine having Ramrock or Volvagia fighting by your side! Zelda could be out there collecting bosses like Pokémon! How thrilling would it be to soar through the skies of Hyrule on the back of Volvagia, or to pummel foes while hanging off of Ramrock’s back like Mineru’s Construct in Tears of the Kingdom?
Now let’s hear what you think. Do you think we’ll get to use dungeon bosses as Echoes in Echoes of Wisdom? Which classic Zelda bosses would you like to see turned into Echoes? What kind of special abilities could they add to Zelda’s arsenal? We want to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
