Caption Contest 416: Why’d You Leave the Keys upon the Table?
Posted on August 26 2024 by Rod Lloyd
Hey there, Zelda fans! Are you game for another Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest? With The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom only a month away now, we’re still building hype through the contest by spotlighting pre-release screenshots from the game. This week’s image might be one of the most famous from Echoes of Wisdom thus far, as it marks the world’s first glimpse at Princess Zelda’s new Echo abilities.
Last Week’s Contest:
Zelda sat on an adorable horse last week.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- IceRod: Nintendo keeps “trotting” out these enticing images from Echoes of Wisdom. Hey, it works. I am literally chomping at the bit to get my hooves on the game. I just hope the game has a good (swishy?) tail on it.
- James Montgomery: “Don’t worry Tri, just gotta put this baby into four heel drive.”
- L3XI0: Tri: “Hey, you can’t park that here.”
Zelda: “Watch me” - Parliemander: I love my horsy and my horsy love me.
- TheZoraMask46: ah yes, I have achieved peak transportation
This Week’s Contest:
Table! Table table table table table!
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
