Caption Contest 407: Mecha Mania
Posted on May 06 2024 by Rod Lloyd
Hey there, Zelda fans! It’s the start of a new week, which means that we’ve got another Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest ready for you! Continuing the trend of the past few weeks, our contest this week features another impressive Ultrahand creation. In fact, it’s something ripped straight from one of those Japanese animes.
I also wanted to use this opportunity to put out a call for any fun Tears of the Kingdom screenshots that you think would make great contest images. We’d love to feature some of the screenshots you’ve taken in the year since the game released.
Last Week’s Contest:
Link received a hand last week.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- ZELDA ULTRANERD: If only Navi was here to tell me to look out for shadows from the ceiling…
- IceRod: Talk about needing a hand….
- Steven Brule: “You new Zelda fans will never understand the terror of having a giant hand suddenly drop on you from th-OH SWEET BABY TINGLE!!!!1!1!!”
- What is love?: “Yeah, I got a cool green arm, there’s no way anyone could top that!”
- Luke: Have any paper
This Week’s Contest:
This creation comes to us from YouTube user GameBurst.
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
