Welcome one and all to the best part of the year—Linktober! All month long, I’ll be combing the Internet, taking in all the sights, and bringing you a tasty charcuterie board of curated art! This week, we’re looking at days 1-6 of the Linktober calendars. And, let me tell you, the community has blessed us this year. From crochet dolls to watercolors, we’ve got a lot to look at.

Before we get started, please remember:

  • All art is good art. Just because you don’t like a particular piece, doesn’t mean it’s bad.
  • Artists, if you don’t see your work on this week’s round-up, that doesn’t mean it isn’t good enough. Trust me, I saw your work and loved it too!
  • See a piece you really like? Don’t be afraid to like, comment, and follow the artist! Just click the artist’s username, and you’ll be on your way.

Now, it’s time to look at some art!

Legend of Glowplug kicks us off with this fantastic drawing of Ezlo. Check out the comments section from last week’s article to see all of their week one illustrations!

This Tingle by Cozypotatocrafts is impossibly cute. Every day, they’re sharing a different Linktober themed amigurumi doll. How incredible is that? They also run an Etsy shop, so be sure to give them a follow there too!

I adore Dianaa_m‘s rendition of Irene from Link Between Worlds. Her hat physically breaking the boundary of the page is a wonderful touch!

Hello, I would like to order a Zelda themed picture book illustrated by Kara_bobeara, please. Just look at how cozy this scene is!

Bunny Link’s ears look so soft and squishable in this work by Waterglider0

Hylianhomemaker is celebrating Linktober by crafting! I seriously wish I could purchase this Skull Kid inspired hat. Check out their site to see more of their work and tutorials.

This mood evoking work by Asame_fanart further solidifies my desire to run away to Ordon Village.

Linktober veteran _mimimaru is blessing everyone’s feeds with this motivational Sidon! Don’t forget to check out her Etsy shop and Patreon while you’re here.

Rarely do we see Link’s descent into dungeons from the monster’s perspective. Maj0rsean shows us how terrifying it must be to see things from their perspective. Maj0rsean is an animator, so hit up their Youtube to see more of their Zelda content!

I am absolutely in love with Stellarnan’s clay work! How cute would this be pinned on a cloak or bag? They also run a Youtube channel filled with crafting and gaming content!

I thoroughly admire any artist with the patience for watercolors. Trash_fairy1.0‘s rendition of Link is beautifully done and adorable to boot!

Another Linktober veteran, Jasqreate‘s works are always lively and filled with movement. Don’t forget to visit his inprnt store and adorn your walls!

This work by Solokarrot is an absolute beauty to behold. I love that their dip pen matches the color palate used!

Blanche.draws is back this year, blessing us with another month of gorgeous work. I can feel the sea breeze just by looking at this piece!

This ode to Eagus by Gentleghosts is wonderful! The Knight Commander seriously doesn’t receive enough love.

Finishing out this week, we have Mr.azul_‘s illustration of Koloktos. Raise your hand, if you can hear the boss theme playing.

And that’s a wrap on week one! If you’re participating, don’t forget to tag your work with #linktober and #artistsoflegend so I can find it. Or, just drop a link to your work below in the comments.

Which piece was your favorite this week? Did you find a new artist to follow? Be sure to give them some love with a like and a follow, and let them know that Zelda Dungeon sent you. I’ll see you all next week, with another batch of amazing art!

Remember to have fun, and stay safe out there.
