One of the coolest Zelda novelties we’ve seen from Nintendo this year, Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda, is set to release on November 12th. Those ordering this compact collection from My Nintendo UK will be in for an additional treat, while supplies last. Nintendo UK is including a themed Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda microfiber cloth with every purchase of the miniature console.
This tiny towel is a perfect inclusion with the Game & Watch system and gets high marks for both fashion and function. The cloth looks absolutely awesome, adorned with an image of the Game & Watch itself. Printed at the top and bottom are the iconic words from the debut Zelda adventure: “It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.” Cool enough on appearance alone, this microfiber cloth also has great practical use when paired with the Game & Watch. The LCD screens on these novelty systems are notoriously difficult to keep clean and smudge free. Microfiber cloth is the perfect material to ensure they remain crystal clear, without the risk of damaging scratches.
As of now, this bonus item is only being advertised at My Nintendo UK. Nintendo has stated that existing pre-orders will be automatically upgraded to include this microfiber cloth. Those interested should act fast though, as they also make it clear that the supplies are limited and strictly subject to availability.
Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda releases on November 12th and includes The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and Link’s Awakening.
