Daily Debate: Which Korok Style is Your Favorite?
Posted on August 18 2021 by Heather Beard
“Yahaha! You found me!” I’m sure that we all got used hearing this adorable little catch phrase as we played Breath of the Wild. A few Zelda fans have been privileged of hearing it 900 times, (or more if you played Master Mode too.) Koroks are in abundance throughout Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule and you can’t help but love them. The little forest creatures come in all shapes and sizes too, so which style of Korok is your favorite?
I always loved the Korok with the large five pointed leaf on its face. To me the leaf always looked like a little star. I couldn’t help but get excited when I came across that specific Korok pattern because it quickly became my favorite. A close second to the five pointed leaf Korok would be the Korok with the “butterfly” shaped leaf for a face. Its eyes always looked a little squinty and there was something adorable about that to me. I’m also partial to the Koroks that have autumn colored patterns as well.
Whether you found the Korok seed side quest annoying or not, it’s hard to deny that the Koroks are adorable. I always had fun coming across one, and I do hope to see them again in some capacity in Breath of the Wild 2. What are your thoughts? Which Korok style is your favorite, let us know in the comments below!
