Caption Contest 291: Put a Little Boogie in It
Posted on March 15 2021 by Rod Lloyd
How’s it hangin’, Zelda fans? Are you ready to take part in another exciting ZD Caption Contest? Even though we got the surprise announcement of Skyward Sword HD last month, many fans were somewhat disappointed that the prior two Zelda HD remasters, The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD, weren’t also announced for the Switch. It seems like the obvious choice to release these HD ports together, but it seems, for now, that Nintendo has different plans. In any case, to make up for the lack of Wind Waker on the Switch, we’ve got a screenshot from that game for this week’s contest.
Last Week’s Contest:
We received so many awesome entries for last week’s contest. Thanks to everyone who participated.
Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- J.A.Geove: *Record scratch*
Link: So… your probably wondering how I got into this situation. Well… it all started in November of ‘11 - David García Abril: “We’ve been falling… FOR THIRTY MINUTES!!!!!”
- Skyward sword Gremlin: Link,The phrase “If Zelda jumped off a cliff would you?” Wasn’t meant to be literal!
- anonymous: Gah! Zelda! Why aren’t you nervous or anything?!
Zelda: Link! This is so cool! We’re falling, but in HD! Awesome, right? - LinkLink: “Trying to make it back to Skyloft after one too many at the lumpy pumpkin.”
This Week’s Contest:
This image takes on a whole new meaning during a pandemic, doesn’t it?
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
