Young Impa Will Be a Playable Character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Koei Tecmo hosted a 50 minute Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity showcase this morning as part of Tokyo Game Show 2020. In addition to a new trailer and new gameplay footage, the stream also featured the surprise announcement that a young Impa will joining the game’s cast as a playable character.
Impa, 100 years younger than she was in Breath of the Wild, will join Link, Zelda, and the four Champions as a playable character in Age of Calamity. Today’s live stream showed a bit of Impa in action, as she makes use of various Sheikah-based attacks and maneuvers.
