Daily Debate: Should the Great Fairies Return in Breath of the Wild 2?

Great Fairies have become a staple for any Zelda game, and Breath of the Wild features four Great Fairies in which you can find and visit regularly. With the sequel to Breath of the Wild on the horizon, it begs the question if the Great Fairies should make a return. If the fairies do return, would they be in the same location, and would the player need to pay rupees as tribute to them again? I loved having the Great Fairies in the game, and I would love to see there return; with some changes.
One of the changes I would like to see, is not needing to pay tribute to them again. Assuming that Hyrule is being rebuilt, maybe other races and Hylians would seek to see the Great Fairies again? I would imagine that their fountains would stay in the same location as well. What would be the point of moving them? These fairies already know Link, so why would tribute need to be paid again?
Another change I would like to see is the fairies offering to give temporary boosts to weapons. That fairy boost could last until the weapon breaks, or for a certain period of time at least. It would be a fun addition and could give the fairies a little bit more purpose than upgrading armor. Having the fairies in the game was helpful though, because we could upgrade our armor, so I do hope they continue to stay for that purpose.
