Zelda Dungeon: Looking For New Staff Members
Posted on September 11 2011 by Mases Hagopian
We are looking to add a few new staff members to the Zelda Dungeon team. I’ve listed a few specific positions below for what we are looking for as well as a short description. If you are interested in applying please send an e-mail to webmaster@zeldadungeon.net or contact me directly on skype (armochicken13).
News Correspondent: We are looking for people that will help post news on the front page of Zelda Dungeon. This includes finding interesting pieces around the internet and drafting news posts here at the front page. In order to apply for this position, please type up a sample news post similar in quality to what most our news posts appear like. Take your time with the sample piece as we put a heavy emphasis on first impressions.
Screen Capturer: We are looking to add people that can take high quality screenshots from the Nintendo Wii. In particular we are looking for people that have the time and ability to capture high quality screenshots for Skyward Sword. For those that are interested, please send in several screenshots that you’ve captured for other Nintendo Wii titles.
Guide Writers: We are looking to add a few people to our guide team. This includes writers for specific pages such as boss guides and heart pieces, or people that can assist in working on full walkthroughs. If you are interested in such a position please send in a sample piece of work. For the sample, please type up a full boss guide description for any boss in the series. Take your time with it so it is of the highest quality and covers everything a boss guide should include.
Again, please send in applications to webmaster@zeldadungeon.net or contact me directly at Skype (armochicken13). When contacting me, please include basic information such as your e-mail address, age, and where you are from. Children under the age of 18 can apply, but we are only looking for people that have good work ethic, can produce quality content, and can handle themselves in a mature manner.
Note: This is a volunteer job. While we provide a lot of perks at Zelda Dungeon such as necessary hardware, software, and occasional gifts, we cannot pay new applicants as we simply don’t have those funds. Thanks and I’m looking forward to reading the new applications.
