It’s only August 25th today, but the October issue if Official Nintendo Magazine is on sale today. This months issue promises to have a number of Zelda goodies for you all as Skyward Sword is listed as one of the games covered in this months issue. Furthermore, the Official Nintendo Magazine website has listed several goodies that are available in this months issue and you can see a tidbit of what they wrote just below.

But back to those main stars, they all appear in our incredible preview section which looks forward to the best games that are coming to Wii and 3DS this winter, including Mario Kart 7, Pokémon Rumble Blast, Kirby’s Adventure Wii, Super Mario 3D Land and Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Talking of Zelda, we’ve got a special feature celebrating 25 years of the classic Nintendo series. From the original Zelda designs to the classic items, the timeline discussions and the best characters, it’s all in here. We also reveal your best Zelda game.

The issue also comes with four free Zelda posters.

I’ve only just recently subscribed to the Official Nintendo Magazine, so I haven’t gotten my October issue in just yet. As soon as my copy arrives, I’ll surely post some of the goodies that are found inside, so stay tuned.

Unfortunately, Official Nintendo Magazine is quite pricey and out of the price range of most anybody outside of the UK. While Nintendo Power sells for the very reasonable price of $34.99 for 24-issues, if you live in America and want 24-issues of Official Nintendo Magazine it will cost you a whopping $170. Granted, a portion of that is due to importing costs, but still, that’s just a ton of money. Even if you live in the UK, 24-issues of Official Nintendo Magazine will cost you £64.99, which converts to over $105.

$34.99 for 24-issues of Nintendo Power for Americans… $105 for 24-issues of Official Nintendo Magazine for folks in the UK… Something just doesn’t seem right…
